Bay Area thrash metal icons EXODUS released a music video for "Promise You This," the third preview single from their forthcoming thirteenth studio album Goliath, due March 20 via Napalm Records. The track showcases the trademark aggressive velocity and precision riffing that has defined the band across four decades.
Goliath marks several firsts for the band: their first album for Napalm Records following their departure from Nuclear Blast, and the first time in over 30 years they have not worked with producer Andy Sneap — mixing duties went to Mark Lewis. The album includes guest contributions from Hypocrisy's Peter Tägtgren and violinist Katie Jacoby, and spans ten tracks.
"Promise You This" follows the previously released singles "3111" and the title track "Goliath." Pre-orders for the vinyl run sold out rapidly following the announcement.
