Manchester metalcore five-piece GUILT TRIP have announced their third studio album, 'Armour of Angels', due June 5 via Roadrunner Records. The announcement is accompanied by the premiere of "No Love Lost" — a new single and music video that announces the band's intent with unmistakable ferocity. The clip was directed by Luigi Sibona.
The band describe "No Love Lost" as "all the best of Guilt Trip spliced into a fast and unrelenting 2.5 minutes" — a concise, accurate summary of what makes them one of the most exciting heavy acts to emerge from the UK in recent years. The track pairs the band's established pace with what vocalist Jay Valentine calls "an added swing of heaviness and a more mature writing style."
GUILT TRIP — Valentine [vocals], Jak Maden [guitar], Sam Baker [guitar], Tom Aimson [drums], and Lily Kilcoyne [bass] — follow up their acclaimed 'Severance' LP with a record that promises to be their most developed work to date. The band are currently on a US tour as the single drops.
"We are immensely proud of this record," the band stated. "It combines everything special about Severance with a heavier, more considered approach that we've been building toward for a while."
'Armour of Angels' is available for pre-order now via Roadrunner Records.
