IRON MAIDEN have announced a major extension to their monumental "Run For Your Lives" 50th anniversary world tour, adding Oceania and Japan dates that will bring the epic trek to a close in late 2026. The tour, which launched on May 27, 2025 in Budapest, Hungary, will now conclude on November 25, 2026 in Yokohama, Japan.

The new dates, revealed on February 26, mark the final leg before the band enters a touring hiatus through 2027. The setlist draws exclusively from the band's first nine studio albums, spanning 1980's self-titled debut through 1992's "Fear of the Dark" — a period widely regarded as the golden era of British heavy metal.

North American dates for 2026 will see IRON MAIDEN performing at stadiums and major amphitheaters across the continent, reflecting the enormous demand for what many fans suspect could be among the band's final large-scale outings. In a notable addition, MEGADETH will join as Very Special Guests for the Hannover show on June 2, adding an extra layer of thrash royalty to the proceedings.

The "Run For Your Lives" tour has already been hailed as one of the most ambitious undertakings in heavy metal history, with elaborate stage productions paying tribute to each album era. Fans have praised the deep cuts and rarities that have surfaced alongside the classics, making each night a journey through five decades of metal excellence.

With the touring hiatus looming, every remaining show carries additional weight for the devoted IRON MAIDEN faithful worldwide.
