IRON MAIDEN Extend "The Future Past Tour" with North American Leg 2026

IRON MAIDEN have announced a major North American extension of their hugely successful "The Future Past Tour," adding 22 headline dates across the United States and Canada for July through September 2026. The announcement, made via the band's official channels on March 7, has already sent ticket-sale servers crashing as the legions of Maiden fans scramble for seats. The tour will feature the same spectacular production that wowed audiences in Europe and South America last year — including Eddie in his massive Senjutsu and Somewhere Back in Time incarnations, a stage show involving pyrotechnics, cinema-scale LED screens, and the band's trademark theatrical flair that has set the gold standard for arena metal production since the early 1980s.

The setlist for the North American leg will largely mirror the European and South American dates, drawing heavily from both "Senjutsu" (2021) and "Somewhere in Time" (1986), with the classic album performed in its near-entirety as it has been on recent European dates. Iconic songs like "Heaven Can Wait," "Wasted Years," "Alexander the Great," and "The Trooper" are confirmed inclusions, alongside newer material from "Senjutsu" such as "The Writing on the Wall," "Stratego," and the epic title track.

Frontman Bruce Dickinson, who turns 68 this summer, continues to defy age with a vocal performance that has been described by reviewers on the current leg as arguably the best of his career. "We are not done yet — not by a long shot," Dickinson said in a statement. "North America has always been incredibly special to us, and we cannot wait to get back out there." Guitarist Adrian Smith added that the band has been energized by the fan response to the current production and feels it deserves to be seen by as many people as possible.

Among the confirmed dates are two nights at Madison Square Garden in New York (August 14–15), three nights at the United Center in Chicago, and two nights at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. The Canadian leg will include stops in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. Pre-sale tickets are available via the IRON MAIDEN fan club, with general on-sale beginning March 14. The tour is promoted by Live Nation, and no support act has been officially confirmed at time of press.
