Multiple dates on IRON MAIDEN's monumental "Run For Your Lives" 50th anniversary world tour are rapidly approaching sold-out status across Europe, reflecting the extraordinary and almost unprecedented level of fan demand for what many believe could be the legendary band's final major touring cycle after half a century of defining heavy metal. The tour kicks off May 27 in Budapest, Hungary, and will hit stadiums and major outdoor venues throughout the European summer in a production that celebrates five decades of one of heavy metal's most important, innovative, and enduring bands.

IRON MAIDEN, formed in London's East End in late 1975 by bassist and primary songwriter Steve Harris, have spent half a century defining the sound, visual identity, and cultural significance of heavy metal music worldwide. From the galloping bass lines and harmonized twin guitar attacks pioneered by Harris and guitarists Dave Murray and Adrian Smith, to the iconic imagery of their beloved mascot Eddie the Head created by artist Derek Riggs, IRON MAIDEN's influence on heavy metal is immeasurable and all-encompassing.

The "Run For Your Lives" tour promises a brand-new state-of-the-art production with a setlist drawn exclusively from the band's groundbreaking first nine studio albums, spanning the self-titled 1980 debut through 1992's "Fear of the Dark." This era encompasses the band's most celebrated recordings, including "The Number of the Beast," "Powerslave," "Somewhere in Time," and "Seventh Son of a Seventh Son." Recent major additions to the tour include MEGADETH as special guests for the North American November dates, while newly announced Japan shows will conclude the touring cycle on November 25 in Yokohama.

Manager Rod Smallwood has officially confirmed that the band will take the entirety of 2027 off from touring, making these shows particularly significant and potentially historic for fans worldwide. Vocalist Bruce Dickinson, now 67, continues to deliver powerhouse vocal performances, and the band's six-piece lineup — completed by guitarist Janick Gers and drummer Nicko McBrain — remains one of the tightest and most dynamic performing units in heavy metal. Tickets for remaining European dates are available through the band's official website and local promoters across each territory.
