Reunited Canadian metal band KITTIE have announced a summer 2026 U.S. headlining tour running June 6 through June 27, continuing the remarkable comeback story that has seen the band triumphantly reclaim their place in the heavy metal landscape after years away from the spotlight. KINGDOM OF GIANTS and GORE will serve as support acts across the 18-date run, creating a diverse and exciting evening of modern metal.
The tour follows KITTIE's triumphant return in 2024-2025, which included high-profile festival appearances, sold-out headline shows, and a massive groundswell of support from both longtime fans who grew up with the band and a new generation of listeners discovering their aggressive blend of nu metal, death metal, and metalcore for the first time through streaming platforms and social media. Fronted by vocalist and guitarist Morgan Lander, with her sister Mercedes on drums, KITTIE originally burst onto the scene in 1999 as teenagers, becoming one of the very few all-female bands to achieve mainstream commercial success in the historically male-dominated world of extreme metal.
The band's acclaimed 2024 documentary "Origins/Evolutions," which chronicled their journey from small-town Ontario teenagers to international metal stars and the challenges they faced along the way, and the accompanying live album helped reignite widespread interest in their catalog spanning six studio albums from the platinum-selling debut "Spit" through 2011's "I've Failed You." Their reunion has been praised for its authenticity and sincerity, with the Lander sisters repeatedly emphasizing that the comeback was driven entirely by a genuine desire to play music together again rather than nostalgia-driven financial incentives or industry pressure.
The 18-date run will include stops at major venues across the United States, with the routing focusing on markets where KITTIE have historically drawn strong and enthusiastic crowds. Tickets go on sale March 6 through all major ticketing platforms, with an exclusive fan presale beginning March 4 for members of the band's mailing list. Support act KINGDOM OF GIANTS bring a dynamic progressive metalcore sound, while GORE adds a raw, visceral death metal element to the diverse and well-curated touring package.
