The clip serves as a visual companion piece to one of the album's most intense tracks — a song whose title references the medieval torture instrument used in the martyrdom of Saint Catherine of Alexandria, continuing the album's thematic engagement with violence, social collapse, and institutional failure.
The video was among the week's most-viewed metal clips on YouTube at the time of release. The Into Oblivion Tour, featuring support from Kublai Khan TX, Fit for an Autopsy, and SANGUISUGABOGG, launched on March 17, running through mid-April across North American arenas and theatres.
