Florida death metal institution OBITUARY launched the opening night of their nine-date March 2026 U.S. headline tour on March 19 at The Wooly in Gainesville, Florida — a hometown-adjacent show that set the tone for what promises to be one of the band's most anticipated domestic runs in years.

Support throughout most of the tour comes from CASTRATOR and INTOXICATED, with two special exception nights offering a different flavour: The Caverns in Pelham, TN (March 21) and White Oak Music Hall in Houston (March 28) feature ACID BATH and HIGH ON FIRE respectively alongside the headliners. The remaining itinerary covers Birmingham AL (March 20), Memphis TN (March 22), Oklahoma City OK (March 24), Columbia MO (March 25), Denton TX (March 27), New Orleans LA (March 29, at Tipitina's).

OBITUARY have been a cornerstone of the Tampa death metal scene since 1984 and continue to tour in fierce support of their most recent studio album Dying of Everything (January 2023, Relapse Records). Drummer DONALD TARDY has indicated that 2026–2027 will primarily be a writing period for the band, with no firm timeline for a follow-up record but plenty of material beginning to take shape. "We're in no rush," TARDY said. "We want the next one to be worth the wait."

Tickets for remaining dates are available through the band's official website and local venue box offices.
