PANTERA have announced the summer 2026 leg of their ongoing "Reinventing Hell" world tour, adding 30 North American dates between July 1 and September 6. The announcement comes after the success of the tour's spring European run, which grossed an estimated $42 million across 35 dates — making it the highest-grossing heavy metal tour in Europe since Metallica's "WorldWired" run in 2018.
The reformed PANTERA lineup — consisting of original members Philip Anselmo (vocals) and Rex Brown (bass) alongside guitarist Zakk Wylde and drummer Charlie Benante, who stand in for the late "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott and Vinnie Paul Abbott — has largely won over the skeptical portion of the metal fanbase with their commitment to honoring the material and delivering the kind of sonically crushing live experience that PANTERA were known for in their 1990s heyday. Wylde's guitar tone, in particular, has been cited by reviewers as remarkably faithful to Dimebag's distinctive sound.
Among the confirmed summer dates are two nights at Darien Lake Amphitheater in New York, a headline slot at Chicago Open Air, and what promises to be an emotional night at the Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas — PANTERA's home city, where the late Abbott brothers grew up. A special tribute segment honoring Dimebag and Vinnie Paul has been confirmed for the Dallas show, with details to be revealed closer to the date. Support acts across the tour include HATEBREED, BODY COUNT, and CROWBAR, with regional support acts added for specific markets. Tickets go on sale March 20 via Ticketmaster.
