SEPULTURA have officially announced "Completing the Circle," their final world tour, set to run across Europe, North America, South America, and Australia throughout 2026 and into early 2027. The announcement confirms what many had feared following the retirement of founding member and drummer Igor Cavalera, who officially rejoined the band for a final creative chapter before announcing his intention to step down from active touring following the completion of their 2025 album "Requiem." SEPULTURA — one of the most historically significant and commercially successful metal bands from South America — have stated that the final show will take place in their home city of Belo Horizonte, Brazil, at a venue yet to be confirmed.

The "Completing the Circle" tour will cover material from across the band's entire four-decade catalog, with particular emphasis on the thrash metal foundation of albums like "Beneath the Remains" (1989), "Arise" (1991), and "Chaos A.D." (1993), which introduced groove metal elements to their sound and brought them global recognition. Vocalist Derrick Green, who has fronted the band since 1997 following the departure of original vocalist Max Cavalera, stated that the band wanted the farewell tour to "honor everything SEPULTURA has stood for — the raw power, the social consciousness, and the deep connection with fans around the world."

The first confirmed dates of the tour include a July 4 show at the Greenfield Festival in Switzerland, Download Japan in August, and a headline slot at the inaugural Brazilian Heavy Metal Week in November. North American dates will be announced separately in the coming weeks. SEPULTURA remain one of the most important metal bands in history, and their farewell deserves to be marked by the kind of celebration their legacy demands.
