SUICIDAL TENDENCIES frontman Mike Muir has announced a 45th anniversary tour running from June 1 through September 15, covering 50 cities across the United States and Canada. The "Suicyco Nation 45" tour marks the anniversary of the Venice, California crossover thrash band's formation in 1981 and their self-titled debut EP of 1982, which is widely credited with helping establish the crossover thrash genre at the intersection of hardcore punk and heavy metal.
The setlist for the tour will span the band's entire catalog, with Muir confirming that the show will include tracks from every SUICIDAL TENDENCIES release from the 1982 debut through their most recent studio album — as well as some deep cuts that the band has rarely or never performed live. The current lineup features Muir alongside longtime guitarist Dave Hawk, bassist Steve Rabb, drummer Dave Lombardo (on hiatus from TESTAMENT for the tour dates that don't conflict), and a selection of the "Cyco Mikes" — SUICIDAL TENDENCIES alumni who rotate in for specific shows.
Support acts for the tour include MUNICIPAL WASTE, POWER TRIP revival act DEATH CRISIS, and CRYPTIC SLAUGHTER — creating a potent package of crossover and thrash acts that honors the genre's history while showcasing its ongoing vitality. Muir, who turned 63 in 2025 and shows no signs of slowing down, described the anniversary as an opportunity to reflect on how a band from Venice Beach influenced decades of heavy music. "When we started this, we were just kids who loved Black Flag and Judas Priest equally," he said. "We never thought it would become anything more than that. Now 45 years later, here we are."
