TWISTED SISTER Recruit SEBASTIAN BACH as New Vocalist for Fall Shows

TWISTED SISTER have announced that Sebastian Bach, former frontman of SKID ROW, will front the band for select fall 2026 dates as part of the group's 50th anniversary celebrations. Bach replaces longtime vocalist Dee Snider, who resigned in early February due to degenerative arthritis and heart issues that prevent him from performing at his usual intensity. Guitarists Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda made the announcement via a joint statement, noting that Snider personally gave his blessing to the appointment.

The pairing makes perfect sense from a historical perspective. Bach grew up idolizing TWISTED SISTER, famously painting the band's logo on the back of his jean jacket in high school using liquid paper. His powerful, soaring vocal range and commanding stage presence make him one of the few singers capable of doing justice to the band's anthemic catalog, which includes classics like "We're Not Gonna Take It" and "I Wanna Rock." Bach himself acknowledged the surreal nature of the situation, posting on Instagram: "It's a long way from me painting the TS logo on my jacket to fronting the band."

Snider publicly stated he is "not dying" but acknowledged he can no longer deliver the physical performance fans expect from a TWISTED SISTER show. The 71-year-old frontman had been candid about his declining health throughout 2025, and his decision to step aside was met with an outpouring of respect from the metal community. "He has my blessing," Snider wrote on social media, adding that Bach was the only vocalist he would have endorsed for the role.

Ex-ACE FREHLEY drummer Joey Cassata has also been recruited to fill the drum seat. Specific dates, venues, and ticket information will be announced in the coming weeks, with the fall run expected to cover major U.S. markets. The shows are being billed as a celebration of TWISTED SISTER's legacy rather than a permanent reunion.
