ARCH ENEMY performed at EX Theater Roppongi in Tokyo, Japan on April 17, as part of their ongoing "Blood Dynasty Japan Tour 2026." Fan-filmed footage from the show has surfaced online, capturing the Swedish death metal outfit in full force with their new vocalist, Lauren Hart (ex-ONCE HUMAN).
Hart replaced founding frontwoman Alissa White-Gluz late last year, and the transition has proven remarkably smooth. The current Japanese run follows a successful seven-date Chinese tour — the band's first live performances with Hart in the fold. In February, ARCH ENEMY released "To The Last Breath," the first studio recording with the new singer.
Guitarist and ARCH ENEMY founder Michael Amott described the track as "unapologetically aligned with my original vision for the band," adding that working with Hart was "an exceptional experience." Drummer Daniel Erlandsson echoed that sentiment in a recent interview, noting the overwhelmingly positive fan response: "I could not expect that it would go that well. The fans see something in Lauren that they really like, and it kind of connects a little bit to Angela [Gossow]."
Looking ahead, ARCH ENEMY will embark on an intimate European club tour dubbed "Back To The Root Of All Evil" in summer 2026, promising a rawer, more stripped-back experience for longtime followers of the band.
With their Asian tours wrapping to strong reviews, ARCH ENEMY's new chapter appears very much on track.
