Southern metal legends CORROSION OF CONFORMITY have returned from an eight-year absence with a double album, Good God / Baad Man, out now via Nuclear Blast Records — alongside a new music video for "Asleep On The Killing Floor," directed by Mike Holderbeast.
The record is split into two deliberate sonic worlds: the aggressive, "pissed-off" energy of the Good God disc and the deep southern-rock groove of Baad Man. Drummer Stanton Moore returned to lay down tracks for the album, while Bobby Landgraf steps in on bass following the amicable departure of longtime bassist Mike Dean. First single "Gimme Some Moore" features guest appearances from Al Jourgensen (MINISTRY) and Monte Pittman.
The album was produced by Grammy Award winner Warren Riker and recorded at multiple studios including Dockside Studios in Maurice, Louisiana and BEE GEES legend Barry Gibb's home studio in Miami. Cover art is by renowned New Orleans artist Scott Guion.
The last COC album was No Cross No Crown in 2018. Since then, founding drummer Reed Mullin passed away in January 2020. Good God / Baad Man stands as a defiant return — and a testament to the enduring power of Pepper Keenan and Woody Weatherman's vision.
