Three of Norway's most iconic black metal acts — DIMMU BORGIR, SATYRICON and ENSLAVED — have announced a landmark joint concert at Oslo Spektrum on October 31, 2026. Dubbed 'Unholy Halloween', the event is being described as potentially "the biggest black metal show ever staged on Norwegian soil."

DIMMU BORGIR will headline what will be their first major Oslo show in 15 years, with frontman Shagrath declaring: "This will be the biggest DIMMU BORGIR production to date." SATYRICON's Sigurd Wongraven called the event his band's personal "Super Bowl" — an unprecedented occasion for Norway's extreme metal scene.

The announcement comes as DIMMU BORGIR prepare the release of their long-awaited new album, 'Grand Serpent Rising', due May 22, 2026 via Nuclear Blast Records. Produced by Fredrik Nordström in Gothenburg, the album features guitarist Kjell Åge Karlsen, who joined the band in June 2025 replacing longtime member Galder.

Adding to the excitement, DIMMU BORGIR and BEHEMOTH are also confirmed to co-headline the "In League With Satan" European tour in October 2026, with DARK FUNERAL as special guests — making this Halloween period a landmark moment for the global black metal scene.

For ENSLAVED, the Oslo show represents another chapter in their ongoing legacy as one of Norway's most consistently innovative metal acts. Tickets for 'Unholy Halloween' are expected to sell out rapidly given the historic nature of the lineup.
