DROWNING POOL's debut album "Sinner" is getting a 25th anniversary treatment — a limited vinyl reissue in multiple variants and an expanded digital edition — due June 5, 2026, via Craft Recordings.

Originally released in June 2001, "Sinner" debuted at #14 on the Billboard 200 and achieved platinum certification within just three months, introducing the world to the band's crushing sound. The album's lead single "Bodies" became one of the most instantly recognizable tracks of the early 2000s heavy music scene, finding its way into films, video games, sports broadcasts, and professional wrestling. Q Magazine summarized it perfectly: "The point where old and nu-metal meet. The impeccable riffs and uncompromising rhythms are perfectly balanced."

The vinyl reissue comes in three variants: sea ink swirl (standard), clear smoke (via Revolver), and purple smoke (available through the band's official website). The expanded digital edition adds three bonus tracks: a demo of "Break You," "The Man Without Fear" featuring ROB ZOMBIE, and Chris Vrenna's remix of "Bodies" — the "XXX Tweaker Mix."

"Sinner" was the only studio album recorded with vocalist DAVE WILLIAMS, who died in August 2002. His passing was a devastating blow to the heavy music community, and the album remains a deeply personal document of his legacy. The surviving members — C.J. Pierce, Mike Luce, and Stevie Benton — have confirmed the band will perform "Sinner" in its entirety as part of anniversary celebrations.

"We appreciate all of our amazing fans that have stuck with us over the past 25 years!" the band said in a statement.
