Charvel have unveiled a new Jake E. Lee signature Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 1 HSS HT RW guitar, inspired by the iconic blue burst model the guitarist wielded during his landmark tenure with Ozzy Osbourne in the 1980s.

The instrument is designed to capture the explosive versatility and vintage attitude of Lee's famous "Bark At The Moon" era tone while offering modern performance at an accessible price. The guitar features an alder body, bolt-on quartersawn maple neck, and a 12"–16" compound radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets. The HSS pickup configuration consists of a Seymour Duncan JB humbucking bridge pickup and two DiMarzio SDS-1 single coils in the middle and neck positions, controlled by a five-way blade switch. A hardtail bridge provides maximum sustain and tuning stability.

Lee joined Ozzy Osbourne's band in 1983 following the tragic death of Randy Rhoads and played on two classic records — Bark At The Moon (1983) and The Ultimate Sin (1986) — before going on to form BADLANDS and later RED DRAGON CARTEL.

In October 2024, Lee was shot three times while walking his dog near his Las Vegas home, sustaining multiple bullet wounds. He has also been battling severe arthritis in his right wrist, requiring him to adapt his technique significantly. Despite these hardships, Lee took part in the landmark "Back To The Beginning" all-star event in Birmingham in July 2025 — BLACK SABBATH and Ozzy Osbourne's final performance together.
