SKID ROW bassist RACHEL BOLAN has addressed the band's ongoing vocalist search in a candid new interview with Chris Akin of the Classic Metal Show, offering insights into what the New Jersey legends are looking for in their next frontman.

Bolan acknowledged the peculiarity of SKID ROW's situation — the band has now cycled through six singers — but quipped that "BLACK SABBATH still has us beat" in terms of vocalist turnover.

He emphasized personal compatibility as a key factor alongside vocal talent: "The hang is such a big part of it," noting that life on the road demands genuine chemistry between bandmates.

Regarding Erik Grönwall's unexpected 2024 departure — necessitated by health complications from his leukemia diagnosis — Bolan was candid about the emotional toll: "It was unexpected. So, there's a little PTSD going on there."

The band has partnered with instrument retailer Sweetwater for the search. As for the long-rumored reunion with original frontman Sebastian Bach, Bolan confirmed they entertained the idea but abandoned it swiftly: "We learned, after a few text conversations, why we fired him in the first place."

Bach has previously claimed the talks collapsed over disputes about management and payment.
