Due to overwhelming demand, thrash metal legends SLAYER have added a second Los Angeles show to their Reign in Blood 40th anniversary celebration. Following the immediate sellout of the November 13 concert at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, the band has announced an additional show at the same venue on November 14, 2026.
The Los Angeles dates mark SLAYER's first performances in the city in seven years. Both nights will feature support from death metal icons CANNIBAL CORPSE, alongside CAVALERA and CROWBAR. A presale for the newly announced November 14 show began on April 23 at 10 a.m. PDT; general tickets go on sale April 24 at 10 a.m. PDT.
The tour celebrates the 40th anniversary of Reign in Blood — one of the most consequential albums in heavy metal history. Released on October 7, 1986 via Def Jam/American Records and produced by Rick Rubin, the 29-minute, ten-track album compressed maximum brutality into minimum runtime and permanently redefined what thrash and extreme metal could be. From the explosive opening of "Angel of Death" to the torrential closer "Raining Blood," it remains a benchmark against which every extreme metal band has measured itself.
SLAYER's farewell run in 2019 was widely regarded as the band's final chapter, making this anniversary celebration all the more significant for long-time fans. In addition to the Los Angeles shows, the band has a previously announced headlining date on September 4 in Shakopee, Minnesota, at Mystic Lake Amphitheater, with DOWN, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, and HATEBREED on the bill.
