STEEL PANTHER drummer Stix Zadinia has confirmed that the glam-metal veterans have recorded new material at Dave Grohl's Studio 606 in Los Angeles, working with producer Jay Ruston.

Reflecting on STEEL PANTHER's extraordinary staying power — over two decades of dirty riffs, outrageous humor, and authentic heavy metal — Zadinia credits both "complete and total ignorance" and genuine love for the genre. In his characteristically irreverent style, he described the band as providing essential escapism in uncertain times: "There's never been a more important time for such an unimportant band."

Zadinia also revealed the band's internal communication formula for longevity. Despite members no longer living near each other, they maintain pre- and post-show meetings and arrive at every tour date fully rehearsed — relying on professionalism built over years of experience rather than regular group rehearsals.

The band's debut album "Feel The Steel" (2009) achieved gold certification in the United Kingdom in October 2024 and was followed by a 15th-anniversary reissue in November. STEEL PANTHER have built a devoted global following through relentless touring and a theatrical stage show that simultaneously celebrates and lampoons the excesses of 1980s glam metal.

Details on the timeline and release format for the new material — whether a full album or individual singles — have not yet been announced.
