Brazilian metal band ANGRA staged a historic reunion on April 26, 2026, at the Bangers Open Air festival in São Paulo, gathering musicians from multiple eras of the band's history on the same stage for the very first time.

The spectacular three-act show opened with current vocalist Alírio Netto alongside Fabio Lione, who fronted ANGRA for 13 years before his departure in late 2025. The second act marked the long-awaited return of the classic "Rebirth" lineup — guitarist Kiko Loureiro, vocalist Eduardo "Edu" Falaschi, and drummer Aquiles Priester, reunited after years apart.

Loureiro departed ANGRA in 2015 to join MEGADETH, returning to his roots after leaving the American thrash giants in September 2023. Falaschi led the band from 2002 through 2012 before pursuing his own project ALMAH.

The final act became a grand celebration featuring all vocalists and musicians performing together, culminating in a heartfelt tribute to founding vocalist André Matos — who passed away in 2019 — with his piano introduction to "Silence and Distance" playing over projected images.

The 20-song setlist spanned ANGRA's entire catalogue, featuring fan favorites such as "Angels Cry," "Nova Era," "Acid Rain," and "Rebirth," along with a cover of Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill." Video footage from the reunion has been published online.
