BRING ME THE HORIZON have announced Count Your Blessings | Repented, a complete re-recording of their 2006 debut album, scheduled for release on July 10 in honor of its 20th anniversary. The band will celebrate the occasion with a full live performance of the record at Manchester's B.E.C. Arena on the same date, presented as "Outbreak Presents: Count Your Blessings | Repented." Support acts include STATIC DRESS, ROLO TOMASSI, DYING WISH, HERIOT, CAR UNDERWATER, and STILL IN LOVE.

Vocalist Oli Sykes has been candid about the original release's shortcomings. Budget limitations, an ill-suited producer whose primary experience was with soft rock act SIMPLY RED, and isolated recording sessions created a record the band never felt proud of. Sykes' own vocal performance deteriorated as tracking progressed — "around track five, it just starts to sound like I've been singing through a sock" — after he fell ill mid-recording.

The re-recording was produced by Buster Odeholm, who approached the material with modern precision while staying true to 2006-era deathcore sonics rather than imposing contemporary production aesthetics.

"The riffs have to actually be clear," Sykes said. "If you're not hearing them, it's pointless."

Count Your Blessings was BRING ME THE HORIZON's debut full-length and one of the defining documents of early British deathcore. This anniversary edition offers the record in the form the band always envisioned: raw, clear, and fully realized. Count Your Blessings | Repented drops July 10.
