KINGS OF THRASH, the project helmed by former MEGADETH members David Ellefson and Jeff Young, have released a crushing new single "Bullets Ready" featuring former EXODUS vocalist Steve "Zetro" Souza.

The song was released through Cleopatra Records and sees KINGS OF THRASH frontman Chaz Leon teaming up with Gabriel Connor of the Los Angeles group RED DEVIL VORTEX, while Zetro delivers a thrilling guest performance. The track was mixed by Grammy-winning producer Cameron Webb, known for his work with MOTÖRHEAD, DANZIG, and GODSMACK.

According to guitarist Jeff Young, the song has unusual origins: "During the making of the Nick Menza documentary film, I acquired several demo recordings of Nick playing various drum progressions" which became the foundation for the track. Young described the experience as "a surreal and nostalgic feeling to be playing along and writing riffs with my long-lost friend."

An official music video for "Bullets Ready" has been released, filmed in Hollywood and directed by drummer Fred Aching, with additional footage shot at Nelson Valley Ghost Town in Arizona.

KINGS OF THRASH formed in April 2022 to celebrate early MEGADETH albums and deep cuts. Ellefson and Young have consistently described the project as "a celebration, not a retaliation." The band is currently on a worldwide tour with dates across North America, Norway, Ireland, and the United Kingdom.
