LEX LEGION, the supergroup formed from four-fifths of KING DIAMOND's classic late-1980s lineup, has released "Gypsy Tears" — its second single — with a video directed by Patric Ullaeus of rEvolver Film Company, the director behind iconic clips for DIMMU BORGIR, IN FLAMES, and LACUNA COIL.

The lineup: guitarist Andy La Rocque, drummer Mikkey Dee (also of MOTÖRHEAD), guitarist Pete Blakk, and bassist Hal Patino — all KING DIAMOND veterans — plus vocalist Nils K. Rue of Norwegian progressive metal act PAGAN'S MIND.

Mikkey Dee: "A real driving banger with a lot of fire and bite." Nils K. Rue: "A dark portrait of obsession, told through the eyes of a watcher who cannot let go." Pete Blakk: "This is the essence of me, Mikkey, Andy and Hal."

Andy La Rocque: "This is completely different and has nothing to do with KING DIAMOND in that sense." The self-titled debut — nine tracks — arrives June 2026 via MNRK Music Group. LEX LEGION is clearly forging a sound entirely their own.
