BMG will release a 20th-anniversary expanded edition of MOTÖRHEAD's "Kiss Of Death" on July 3, 2026 — a remastered deep-dive into one of the band's most beloved late-career records, and a tribute to the recently departed Phil Campbell.

Originally released in 2006 as the band's 18th studio album, "Kiss Of Death" captured LEMMY Kilmister, Phil Campbell, and Mikkey Dee at their most ferociously comfortable — loud, fast, and relentless, as only MOTÖRHEAD can be. The album features guest appearances from Mike Inez (ALICE IN CHAINS) and C.C. DeVille (POISON), and stands out for tracks like "Sucker," "Trigger," and the haunting ballad "God Was Never On Your Side."

The anniversary edition has been half-speed mastered from the original tapes, ensuring maximum fidelity for vinyl enthusiasts. New liner notes written by Classic Rock's Dave Ling pay tribute specifically to Campbell, who passed away in March 2026 at age 64 after 31 years as MOTÖRHEAD's sole guitarist — a tenure that covered landmark albums including "Orgasmatron," "1916," and "Bastards."

The vinyl configuration adds an exclusive live LP: MOTÖRHEAD's full 2007 performance at the Lowlands festival in Biddinghuizen, Netherlands. The CD edition includes three bonus tracks. A new lyric video for "God Was Never On Your Side," created by Andy Pilkington, accompanies the release.

With both LEMMY and Phil Campbell now gone, this reissue carries extra weight — a celebration of a classic lineup that will never be replicated.
