The official documentary about PAUL DI'ANNO, IRON MAIDEN's original vocalist, is set to arrive in North America this June. Directed by Wes Orshoski — the filmmaker behind acclaimed documentaries on Motörhead's Lemmy Kilmister and The Damned — "Di'Anno: Iron Maiden's Lost Singer" will premiere at Los Angeles' Lumiere Music Hall Theater in Beverly Hills on June 9, 2026, with digital VOD and DVD/Blu-ray releases on the same date.

The film offers an intimate portrait of Di'Anno's final years, documenting how two IRON MAIDEN fans launched a crowdfunding campaign during the COVID-19 pandemic to help him relocate to Croatia for medical treatment. It captures his health struggles, remarkable recovery with the support of Croatian doctors and the global metal community, a reunion with IRON MAIDEN bassist Steve Harris, and his emotional return to performing.

Featured in the film are James Hetfield (METALLICA), Gene Simmons (KISS), Steve Harris (IRON MAIDEN), and members of EXODUS, SLAYER, MEGADETH, OVERKILL, and SEPULTURA. The documentary has also screened at the Sound Unseen festival in Minneapolis and will appear at the San Francisco Documentary Festival on June 3.

Paul Di'Anno sang on IRON MAIDEN's 1980 self-titled debut and 1981's "Killers." He passed away on October 21, 2024, at the age of 66 due to a heart sac tear. The film serves as a final, definitive testament to his larger-than-life story.
