As they prepare to set sail on their first-ever U.S. tour, viral Viking sensation EIHWAR have released a brand-new live video. Filmed during the duo's set at the 2026 Echos & Merveilles Festival in France, the clip spotlights material from their hotly received new album, Hugrheim, with a thrilling performance that sets the dance floor ablaze with shamanic drums, magical chants and powerful electro beats.
The Echos & Merveilles footage showcases the new live show that EIHWAR's Asrunn and Mark have built around Hugrheim. Created by lighting designer Yann Gaignard, the stage design places the pagan duo inside a fantastical, post-apocalyptic Viking camp dominated by towering, fluorescent totems. The setlist pulls together current favorites like "Nauðiz" and the album's title track, alongside the viral smash "Berserkr" — a track that has racked up more than 1.6 million views on YouTube and counting.
Hugrheim, the project's latest full-length, is out now via Season of Mist, the French label long associated with extreme and pagan-leaning music. EIHWAR fuse the ritualistic atmosphere of Nordic folk with the punch of modern electronic production, a combination that has earned them a rapidly growing global following and a reputation as one of the most distinctive new acts in the broader "Viking" and pagan scene.
Now the duo are taking that immersive ritual across the Atlantic for the first time. The 2026 U.S. "Nordic Ritual Nights Tour" kicks off August 28 at Music Hall of Williamsburg in New York and winds through 17 cities before wrapping September 20 in Philadelphia, hitting Boston, Washington D.C., Charlotte, Athens, Houston, Dallas, Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Salt Lake City, Denver, St. Louis and Columbus along the way.
