With each album, this band grows on me more and more. Starting from the, in my opinion, completely uninteresting early albums, all the way to this one. Progress, as they say, is evident. This album turned out quite good overall. At times slightly doom-tinged, at times upbeat and rollicking. In short, exactly what the Fate of the Norns (goddesses of destiny -- a pun indeed) should be. Even the occasional use of a drum machine alongside(!) live drums sounds justified.
