Back in the day, a few teenagers stunned Poland with high-speed death metal of excellent quality, and nearly 10 years have passed since then. Over 2005-2006, DECAPITATED managed to tour with such genre titans as SUFFOCATION, VADER, SIX FEET UNDER, HYPOCRISY, NILE, and CRYPTOPSY, and the band has toured the US on multiple occasions. So here we have their fourth full-length. What has changed? Well, first and foremost, the vocals — Sauron no longer sings in the band. The new vocalist goes by Covan, and his vocal technique leaves nothing to complain about: harsh and powerful growling that suits the band's music perfectly. Has the sound changed? Yes, it has become much more technical and measured, while at the same time less heavy and aggressive. The album contains only 7 tracks with a total runtime of 32 and a half minutes. There are no groundbreaking innovations. The record will appeal to fans of Polish death metal, as well as lovers of technical extreme music in general.
