Yet another product you could slap with a "sympho black metal" tag. Except below that, we add the inscription "made in russia." The long French album title might catch your attention, though there isn't the slightest hint of the "language of love" in the lyrics — all the words on "L'amour N'enleve Pas Vraiment La Depression..." are in English. This trio of brave black metallers, among whom you'll find the lovely Dinara, performs heavy yet melodic, vicious music adorned with symphonic passages. The guitars roar while vocalist Roman delivers his screams with dedication. DRYADOS are clearly trying to line up alongside the monsters of quality sympho black metal. If that's the case, the guys should give their image some thought. After all, it looks rather comical — a menacing male face with feminine makeup: pouty lips, arched eyebrows, almond-shaped eyes, and a noble pallor to top it all off.

The booklet comes in blue tones. The cover art depicts a coffin drifting on an eternal voyage across calm ocean waters. Feel free to philosophize about that one.

"L'amour N'enleve Pas Vraiment La Depression..." is a decent effort, but it lacks that special something. For instance, maybe the vocalist should try singing in French. I think it would sound rather piquant.
