Jack Frost of SEVEN WITCHES decided to pursue a parallel solo career after the release of his band's latest album. Naturally, the musician couldn't handle everything on his own, so trusted friends lent a hand: Gonzo Sandoval (ARMORED SAINT, LIFE AFTER DEATH) on drums, Mike Duda (W.A.S.P.) and Joey Vera (FATES WARNING, ARMORED SAINT) on bass. Also making appearances (one on a single track, others on a couple) were Harry Hess (HAREM SCAREM), Joe Comeau (ex-ANNIHILATOR), Bobby Lucas (OVERLORD), Steve Braun (ATLAS), Rob Rock, and Jack Emrick (LIFE AFTER DEATH).
The lion's share of the compositions is crafted in the vein of American-school power metal, which means thrash-tinged guitars are guaranteed. There are also softer tracks, closer to heavy metal or even hard rock I'd say -- The Man I Am and Fight Fire With Fire. The sole instrumental, Nippin At Your Year, is a jam performed by Jack. An average effort, what more can you say.
