Darkness, emptiness, cruelty, and aggression -- all of this is fused in the music of this act. Although the band is young, the quality of their work is excellent. The group plays black-death metal, and it's worth noting it is quite well-crafted and, most importantly, never monotonous -- the rhythm changes from time to time, and the melody doesn't stay in one place either. In short, the music is a pleasure to listen to.

As for the performance and recording, there's not much to criticize here; it sounds like a self-produced record. The guitars are well recorded, and the playing deserves praise -- varied, with transitions from distorted tones to nearly acoustic passages. The drums -- well, it's simply a storm here. These guys know their craft; I would say it's in the best traditions of Swedish black metal (even though the band itself is from Italy). The vocals are, let's say, standard screaming, slightly reminiscent of Pasi Koskinen from AJATTARA, only higher-pitched. One composition that immediately stood out on the album is Vigilia Secunda -- melodic yet fast. What more can be said -- great job, guys. I think this precursor to a new album was a success, and I hope the full-length will be just as energetic, dark, and aggressive.

For now, all I can do is recommend this band to the wide audience of metal genre enthusiasts.
