The musicians seem to play well enough, the songs they've come up with aren't bad either, and yet it just doesn't hook you. I wouldn't call their heavy metal bland — it's fast where it needs to be, slow where it needs to be. Overall, the material is solid. But there isn't a single track that, after one listen, makes you want to hit repeat. It lacks that hit quality. Only "Hold Me Tight" could lay claim to being the album's centerpiece (no surprise it was the track that landed on a Limb Music compilation); the rest, I'm telling you, isn't worth the trouble of putting the disc back in my player.
