This promo that landed in my hands proves that Belarus can also produce quite solid folk metal. Incidentally, the folk element in KAMAEDZITSA is rather distinctive -- traditional melodies combined with heavy, practically death metal riffs and growled vocals, all diluted with fast guitar solos and slow, melodic instrumental passages. The lyrics in Belarusian also sound refreshingly original. All in all, a very interesting Belarusian project.
In my view, particular highlights include the semi-instrumental composition "Uskhalennie Vialesu," the fast and vibrant "Pabraushy Miachy," and... regrettably, the recording quality. Because of it, much gets lost in extraneous noise. One can only hope this shortcoming will be corrected in the future, but for now I'm docking one point for it.
