I can just picture your surprised face when you put this disc in the player and hear dead silence. That's right — "Intro The Nightmare" is literally a game of silence. Starting from the second track, you'll be treated to slightly aggressive, fast, powerful music from Greek death metal band KINETIC. Across 10 compositions (not counting the intro), you'll hear splashes of thrash as well. The video for "Never Ending Winter" is a nice bonus. This debut, released on the Greek label Sleazy Rider Records, turned out quite well, even though the band doesn't offer the listener anything particularly new. "The Chains That Bind Us" is only the beginning for this young Greek outfit's creative growth, and in time they will surely please us with more interesting work.
