Patogen is already the 4th album from these Poles and yet another convincing argument proving that Poland knows how to make excellent extreme metal.

PARRICIDE have almost completely departed from brutal death and plunged into the depths of goregrind — a tendency that first emerged on the previous album. Excellent crystal-clear production unusual for this style, high-level technique, an ocean of catchy and groovy riffs, a variety of vocal exertions, the primary one being the currently fashionable guttural pig squeals and grunting. 16 tracks that are short in duration but incredibly weighty in sound and substance shift at the speed of light from brutal carnage to reckless grind insanity.

And while there's nothing fundamentally new here, it all feels so fresh — a magnificent album, a fine example of the right approach to extreme music.
