Perfect! Absolutely magnificent! Everything about this album is excellent. It is a true classic of the genre. The opening track immediately sets the listener into a melancholic mood. A click — the tape is flipped, and we are already enveloped in an atmosphere of sorrow. Listening to the disc, you feel every song. Brilliant solos, beautiful arpeggios, and the raspy voice of Sami Lopakka will not leave you indifferent to this music. On a couple of tracks, female vocals from Birgit Zacher appear, which — I must admit — I initially mistook for a synthesizer. Her voice sensitively conveys the mood of those compositions. On tracks 4, 5, and 10, you can hear the unmistakable Mr. Vorph (SAMAEL). There is a resemblance to the work of AMORPHIS — subtle, but definitely present. Plenty of memorable melodies throughout. One final click, and that's it — the music is over.
