A rather interesting disc landed in my hands. Lengthy, clean, instrumental keyboard passages and screams — that is probably the most memorable element. And the guitar fits in organically: sometimes clean, sometimes effects-laden. The result is wondrous music, comparable in atmosphere to APOCALYPTICA, with the difference being that Apocalyptica is more aggressive, if you will. I am not sure what the musicians themselves call their style, but to me it is something leaning toward instrumental gothic (with screams, mind you). A rather interesting fact is that despite not being a particular fan of this style, I really enjoyed the demo. I hope the guys find a label and release a full-length album soon.
