Could it be that Fono has started releasing rock'n'roll? — the thought flickered upon seeing the cover of THE HEAVILS' latest offering. But from the very first chords, I realized I was wrong. Groovy hardcore guitar riffs poured from the speakers. Yet the hardcore of our "defendants" isn't all that standard. Here and there, rock'n'roll does make an appearance; in places there's a whiff of art rock and touches of grunge. Overall, the song structures are quite interesting. The band's biggest experiment is the last track, Kadigimonk, clocking in at over 18 minutes. The atmosphere of a dark basement, a child's voice... But then again, why should I spoil the experience — hear it for yourselves!
