A ferocious pounding, yet strangely pleasant. Those are exactly the associations that arise when you put on THY PRIMORDIAL and their latest effort "Pestilence Upon Mankind." Absolutely infernal music! It feels as though it was composed by the Prince of Darkness himself. True black metal in every sense! The vocalist's demonic roar, beefy guitars, relentless drum rolls. The album's pitch-black atmosphere is superb. Not a single composition resembles another. The disc upholds the finest traditions of the genre. After a single listen, you don't want to put it on the shelf and forget about it — on the contrary, you want to savor it again and again.
