In the long run progressive folk metal band from Yaroslavl recorded debut album. The debut is based on two demos of the band - "Krada" (1999) and "Vo Luzeh" (2000) and two new tracks (Yavir and Intro: Stin'). Intro is two minutes long and not just instrumental - easy ambient with bass guitar and declamation of Slavic hymns. Slavic metal - that's what TUMULUS performs and yet it is not pagan metal. TUMULUS is very melodic and traditional with flute, balalaika and guitars and keyboards of course. The Thread track is a beautiful ambient with gentle whispering. The songs are re-arranged, new elements make them complete. TUMULUS is very original and we are looking forward to hear something new!
