DEFTONES are reviving their curated "Dia De Los Deftones" festival, set for November 7, 2026 at Petco Park in San Diego, California. It marks the event's return since 2022, after earlier editions in 2018 and 2019.

True to the festival's mixtape philosophy, the bill spans well beyond metal. Joining the headliners are THE NEIGHBOURHOOD, AFI, BKTHERULA, CONVERGE, JEHNNY BETH, LADRONES, LIP CRITIC and LUSTSICKPUPPY — a deliberately eclectic spread of alternative, hardcore, punk and hip-hop acts curated by the band itself.

"It's like putting together a mixtape, but it's a live show and you can put different artists together in one live setting," frontman Chino Moreno explained of the approach that has defined the festival from the start.

Pre-sale access begins Wednesday, June 24 at 10:00 a.m. PDT, with the general on-sale following Friday, June 26 at 10:00 a.m. PDT; newsletter subscribers get first crack at tickets and VIP packages.

The festival caps a busy stretch for the alternative-metal mainstays, whose latest album "Private Music" arrived in August 2025 and was produced by Grammy-winning knob-twirler Nick Raskulinecz. Long revered for fusing crushing heaviness with atmosphere and melody, DEFTONES remain one of the most influential bands to emerge from the late-'90s heavy scene — and "Dia De Los Deftones" has become a showcase for the wide range of artists who share their adventurous spirit.
