HATEBREED Sign With BLKIIBLK, New Album Due Fall 2026: 'Most Ignorant, Heavy, Caveman-Esque Record Yet'

Connecticut metalcore heavyweights HATEBREED have signed with BLKIIBLK, the heavy metal imprint of the Frontiers Label Group, the band announced on June 11, 2026. Their new album — produced by longtime collaborator Chris "Zeuss" Harris — is scheduled for a fall 2026 release, making it the long-awaited follow-up to 2020's Weight Of The False Self.

Frontman Jamey Jasta was characteristically direct about what fans can expect: "This is our most ignorant, heavy, caveman-esque record yet. We really just went back to basics, played on all our strengths."

Drummer Matt Byrne matched that energy: "2026 is the year of HATEBREED. This juggernaut is picking up the pace rapidly and is taking no prisoners."

The album has been in development for some time — the band released the first single "Make The Demons Obey" back in July 2025, offering an early preview of the heavier, faster, and more thrash-influenced direction. The new record reportedly leans into the band's most aggressive instincts while stripping away anything that might dilute the impact.

Chris "Zeuss" Harris — who has produced records for SHADOWS FALL, SUICIDE SILENCE, and HATEBREED themselves across numerous albums — is again helming production, ensuring the raw power translates to tape with the clarity and weight the band demands.

HATEBREED have never shied away from their roots in the hardcore and metal crossover tradition, and this album appears designed to double down on that identity at a moment when the broader metal scene seems ready to receive exactly this kind of unapologetic aggression.

The band's 2026 touring schedule is formidable: two legs of the Summer Slaughter Tour (July 2–24 and beginning August 20), headlining the second leg with support from TERROR, INCANTATION, and others. Multiple European festival appearances are also confirmed.

BLKIIBLK, which also signed Australian deathcore outfit TO THE GRAVE this week, is building a roster anchored at the heaviest end of the metal spectrum. HATEBREED's arrival gives that lineup one of the genre's most enduring and respected names.

Full album details — title, artwork, track listing — are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
