Swedish power metal titans SABATON have announced their most ambitious domestic tour to date: "Den Stora Sverigeturnén III" (The Grand Swedish Arena Tour III), a 21-date arena run across Sweden in January and February 2027, with support from fellow Swede HULKOFF.

The announcement follows the band's recent appearance at Sweden Rock Festival, which the group cited as the catalyst for this homecoming. "After the unforgettable nights we shared together at Sweden Rock Festival... we're excited to announce our return in 2027 with The Grand Swedish Arena Tour!" SABATON declared.

The tour sweeps Sweden's entire length — from Kiruna, deep inside the Arctic Circle (January 29), to Lund in the far south (February 27) — hitting 21 cities across 30 days. Among the venues: Arena Arctica in Kiruna, SAAB Arena in Linköping, and Sparbanken Skåne Arena in Lund. General ticket sales open June 15, 2026 at 10:00 CEST via sabaton.net/tour.

SABATON are one of the most successful Swedish metal exports of their generation. The Falun-based quintet — led by vocalist JOAKIM BRODÉN — have built a devoted global following through their history-focused lyrics and anthemic, keyboard-driven power metal. Albums like Carolus Rex (2012), The Last Stand (2016), and The War to End All Wars (2022) have established them as a dominant force in European power metal.

The "Grand Swedish Arena Tour" series allows Swedish fans to see SABATON in large-capacity venues close to home — and this third edition, with its 21 cities and full national sweep, promises to be the biggest and most comprehensive yet.

Tour dates (selected): Jan. 29 – Kiruna (Arena Arctica) · Jan. 30 – Boden (Bodens Energi Arena) · Feb. 1 – Umeå (Umeå Energi Arena Vind) · Feb. 9 – Visby (Destination Gotland Arena) · Feb. 13 – Linköping (SAAB Arena) · Feb. 19 – Örebro (Conventum Arena) · Feb. 27 – Lund (Sparbanken Skåne Arena) — and 14 more cities across Sweden.
