Florida nu-metal veterans NONPOINT have announced their eleventh studio album, "The Last Word," set for release September 18 via 361 Degrees Records, alongside a music video for lead single "Is It."

"Is It" has already made an impact at rock radio, landing as the No. 1 Most Added track at Active Rock and climbing into the Top 50 on the Mediabase Active Rock chart. Frontman Elias Soriano described the song's core conflict in personal terms: "It's that internal conflict where you wonder if doing what seemed right actually hurt people around you." Speaking more broadly about the record, he framed it as a statement of defiance: "We're pushing back against expectation and pushing forward into our own next chapter."

The album's artwork carries its own symbolism, according to Soriano: "The pencil represents being handed one last tool. If this is the pencil we're handed, we'll use it and ensure the words written still matter." The current NONPOINT lineup features Soriano on vocals, Robb Rivera on drums, Rasheed Thomas on guitar and backing vocals, Adam Woloszyn on bass, and Jason Zeilstra on lead guitar.

Pre-save and pre-order campaigns for "The Last Word" launch today, July 2, giving fans early access ahead of the September release. NONPOINT will also hit the road on "The Even More Outta Control Tour," kicking off July 25, giving the band a platform to debut new material live in the weeks before the album drops.

In addition to the album news, NONPOINT has joined the artist roster for Heavys, an audio company specializing in headphones and gear built for rock and heavy music fans, expanding the band's footprint beyond music releases.

Now well into its third decade as a band, NONPOINT continues to find traction at rock radio even as the nu-metal scene they emerged from in the late '90s has cycled in and out of the mainstream spotlight. "The Last Word" arrives as the band's latest bid to prove there's still fight left in the genre's veterans, with "Is It" serving as an early sign the strategy is working.
