On June 16, 2017, Florida power and thrash metal veterans ICED EARTH released their twelfth studio album Incorruptible through Century Media Records. Produced by Jim Morris at Morrisound Recording in Tampa, the record arrived after a turbulent period of lineup changes and delivered the muscular riffing, cinematic scope, and historical themes that have defined ICED EARTH for three decades. Vocalist Stu Block, who joined the band for Dystopia in 2011, gives his most dynamic and commanding performance to date, while bandleader Jon Schaffer's compositions on tracks like "Great Heathen Army," "Raven Wing," and "Seven Headed Whore" affirm his uncompromising vision of American power metal. Incorruptible debuted at number fifty-two on the Billboard 200 and received strong critical praise from the metal press worldwide as a genuine creative resurgence.
