This is the second album from Belarusian rock diva Kaira and the band of the same name. The first album was a failure, combining unsophisticated Aria-style heavy metal with terribly raw lyrics. The only bright spot was the decent, overall, voice of Kaira herself. So what do we see on the latest full-length? The heavy metal has mutated into pompous rock with symphonic arrangements. The vocals, to my taste, have gotten somewhat worse, but in reality the differences from the first album are minimal. The lyrics... The situation here has not changed one bit. Still raw and poor. How can one normally perceive constructions like:

"On the wings of words we'll fly away, opening the curtain of sunset. And the sky with a blind whisper, carries us somewhere with dry rain. The sea got soaked from the rain, fragments of wet faces merged together. I'll sprinkle with the eternal dust of sleep the breath of eyes of distant birds."

Symphonic arrangements are present on the album in large quantities, but they are distinguished by neither originality nor beauty, nor do they answer the question of whether their presence is warranted. In some songs one can extract decent moments, but overall not a single song on the album deserves even an average rating. The verdict — yet another very weak effort from the project called Kaira.
