Icelandic black metal outfit FORSMÁN have announced their debut full-length Brenndar Rústir & Fuðrandi Fjörur, due June 26, 2026, via Vesperian/Metal Blade Records. The band premiered the opening track "Drottinn Fyrirgefur Allt" today — vicious and cold, with intricate riffing and shifting dynamics that signal a fully formed voice rather than a tentative debut.
Hailing from Kópavogur, the members — all in their early twenties — follow in the tradition of SVARTIDAUÐI, SINMARA, and MISÞYRMING. Cover artwork is by Paolo Girardi (POWER TRIP, REVOCATION, SULPHUR AEON). Pre-orders are live for a limited CD digipak and gatefold LP on clear/black splatter vinyl.
