Rasmus Stavnsborg, 53, from Solrød, Denmark, may well be the world's greatest IRON MAIDEN fan. He's attended more than 300 concerts since 1988, owns over 10,000 pieces of memorabilia spread across six rooms of his home, and was personally awarded a "Super Fan Pass" by the band during their 2006 tour — granting him free access to every show on that touring cycle.
The collection was once housed in a 100-square-meter basement, but about 12 years ago it outgrew the space, prompting a house move to Solrød Strand. Since then, the haul has nearly doubled: from roughly 5,000 items to over 10,000 — including pinball machines, a homemade bar decorated in band memorabilia, drumkits, and countless Eddie-themed objects.
One of the most unusual pieces: a cigarette butt smoked by former IRON MAIDEN vocalist Paul Di'Anno. "If I just wanted to buy things to plaster the place with Iron Maiden stuff, that would be the easiest thing in the world," Rasmus explains. "But I like that the things have a story."
Rasmus recently appeared in the band's documentary Iron Maiden: Burning Ambition, which premiered in early May 2026 and chronicles the band's formative years. He felt the film was "rushed through" the earliest period — a sentiment echoed this week by former guitarist Dennis Stratton.
IRON MAIDEN's ability to inspire this level of devotion — 300 concerts, six rooms of Eddie memorabilia, a relocated family home — remains unmatched in the world of metal. No band comes close.
