IRON MAIDEN officially launched the 2026 leg of their "Run For Your Lives" world tour on May 23 at the Olympic Athletic Center of Athens (OAKA) in Greece, and the band has shared an official video recap of the landmark show. Thrash legends ANTHRAX are supporting across the European run.

The Athens concert delivered a stunning moment that no one anticipated: IRON MAIDEN performed "Infinite Dreams" live for the first time in 38 years. The beloved track from the band's 1988 masterpiece "Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son" drew a thunderous response from the packed Greek stadium. Before playing it, vocalist Bruce Dickinson addressed the crowd: "We thought we'd just do a little bit of something different — it's a song that we have not played for many, many years."

The "Run For Your Lives" tour celebrates IRON MAIDEN's 50th anniversary since Steve Harris founded the band in late 1975. The 17-song Athens setlist spanned classic material from the band's first nine albums, touching on decades of iconic heavy metal. The European leg continues with major stadium shows, including Sofia, Bulgaria (May 26) and further dates across the continent before the band heads to North America later this year, where MEGADETH and ANTHRAX will serve as support.

A significant lineup change for this tour is behind the kit: drummer Simon Dawson, who replaced the legendary Nicko McBrain in December 2024, is making his major arena and stadium debut on this campaign. IRON MAIDEN has also asked fans to minimize phone camera use during performances, encouraging full presence at the shows.
